Intercooler Option: 

• If you have an aftermarket/enlarged intercooler, it is likely that the FSPE skid plate will touch it. This is because it was originally designed to fit the OEM intercooler. Aftermarket intercoolers typically hang lower as a result of them being at a higher flow & space capacity. We give you the option to purchase a skid plate with an opening just behind the 2 front mounting points for an intercooler. The size of the aftermarket intercooler opening is 33.5" Wide (left-to-right) & 5" Deep (front-to-back) The opening was designed around a Mishimoto intercooler for the 3.3T model.
